The Cottonflex quality combines excellent wearing comfort with a sustainable, resource-saving approach.The main component of the forward-looking fibre blend is the combination of the environmentally friendly materials Organic Cotton (OCS certified) and TENCEL™ by Lenzing. Both fibers stand for demonstrably gentle, responsible cultivation without the use of pesticides.The high proportion of TENCEL™ also saves resources. This is because the areas used to grow wood are little or not at all suitable for food. Wood is also easy to grow, unlike cotton, grows faster and even manages without artificial irrigation. For example, TENCEL™ fiber requires about 20 times less water to grow than cotton.The area under cultivation is also approx. 4 times smaller than for cotton. Wearing comfort with maximum freedom of movement is guaranteed by the use of T400® filament.T400® is a modern elastomultiester fiber with excellent recovery. Extremely stretchable in all directions, it offers the wearer maximum freedom of movement, excellent fit and prevents unsightly bulging.After weaving the raw material, a complex finishing and dyeing process takes place.Subsequently, a fine diamond emery gently roughens the fabric and gives the quality a particularly soft cashmere touch.
