In 1991 Andrew Dalgleish established Gusto Clothing, designing and producing leisurewear and knitted woollen apparel. Becoming the first Australian company and one of the first companies in the world to design develop and sell Wool plus Lycra knitwear.

In 1996 Gusto started its European clothing distribution business across Australia and opened a part-time sample and stock clearance store in Richmond, in 2004 it evolved into a men’s and women’s retail concept called ‘Styleroom’.

The Styleroom sold a mix of both mens and women’s European luxury and leisure brands.

After almost ten years the Styleroom closed, and re-opened as mens only store in Toorak prior to Covid, and an e-commerce store during Covid.

The Styleroom purchased the legendary American Tailors business - Bourke St Melbourne in 2025, and combined it with the Styleroom in an iconic Toorak Tutor building.

The Styleroom continues to grow its stable of beautiful European mens brands and expand its service into the ‘Made to Measure’ and corporate business.
